SHEN Certification
The SHEN professional certification program is an 18 month to 2 year program. The program is comprised of seminars, workshops and supervised work.
As a SHEN Therapy intern, you will begin with taking 14 days of the SHEN empowerment workshops. Workshops taken previously will count towards this. Once this pre-requisite is complete, you will be assigned a mentor. You are also free to choose your own mentor. After an 8-day residential clinical skills workshop, you begin to give SHEN treatments. You will be guided by your mentor and any help or advise you need will be available to you. A certified SHEN Therapist will have completed 200 mentored SHEN sessions. Another 8-day clinical skills seminar is attended at a more advanced level of learning. During your training you will also have the opportunity to assist and facilitate at SHEN workshops.
